Australian Recipes: Fairy bread

Fairy bread was a children’s party favourite when I was a child. In Australia, every single child’s party was at their parent’s house and the table of party food always had fairy bread. One of my personal favourites as it was the only time I was allowed to eat white bread!

Ingredients

Method

Very, very simply, butter the bread slices. Relatively thin, but not too thin that the sprinkles won’t stick

Sprinkle the hundreds and thousands all over the buttered bread

Cut diagonally, so you have triangle halves and serve the fairy bread to the children!
